As a partner of the Belgian Development Cooperation, ARES awards bachelor's, master's and continuing education scholarships in Belgium to nationals of its 31 partner countries. These scholarships are characterised by an open approach to the specific problems associated with development.
For the academic year 2025-2026, 200 scholarships are available. One specialised bachelor's degree, ten specialised master's degrees and six continuing education courses are offered by French-speaking higher education institutions in Belgium (EPHEC, ESA Saint-Luc Bruxelles, HE Vinci, ULB, UCLouvain (Bruxelles Woluwe, Louvain-la-Neuve and Saint-Louis - Bruxelles), ULiège, and UNamur).
Applications are open and close on 18 October 2024.
Entry requirements
To apply, candidates must hold a higher education diploma and have at least two years' professional experience.
Duration of the course
ARES grants offer the opportunity to follow a one-year bachelor's degree in specialisation or a one-year master's degree in specialisation, or a 2 to 6-month continuing education course in a Wallonia-Brussels Federation establishment in Belgium.
